Objective The purpose of this project is to improve the productivity of crop-livestock systems in East Africa through identification, documentation, synthesis and dissemination of technologies and approaches that would enhance the availability and quality of crop residue for multiple uses, without aggravating environmental degradation and livelihood strategies of communities.
